Instruments The following variables are continuously monitored at the SMAPex project sites: * Soil moisture, using one SDI-12 soil moisture probes (at 5cm). * Soil temperature, using three Unidata 6507A temperature sensors (at 1cm, 2.5cm, 5cm).
