| CS-616 Soil Moisture Probe
The Campbell Scientific CS-616 utilizes time domain reflectometry (TDR) to measure the volumetric water content of a soil. It measures the propagation velocty of an electromagnetic pulse through the soil which is converted to the soil moisture content using a callibration equation.
The CS-616 soil moisture probe has succeeded the CS-615 soil moisture probe.
